The Online Application

Hello Everyone!

I know I haven't updated this for a long time, but nothing exciting about my journey as au pair has happened, but nevertheless I'll be writting long post about certain topics, about my experience and what I have read, and before I start with the topic of this entry, a little bit of advertisment, so I making a new blog about the things I like and everything that happens in my daily life that not necesarily has to do with the Au Pair experience here is the link obsidiancircuit.blogspot.com/ and that will be the end of the comercial.

Ok, so the online application. When I went to the information meeting my regional manager told me about the online application and that some girls do it in two or three days. I did it in a week more less, but right now I kind of regret that, there are some answers I would like to change mostly because is what the families wiil read about you and that answers will help them to decide if you're the perfect au pair for their family, so be really thoughtful about every answer and if you could have someone to read it first, that will tell you if something sound odd or you need to be more specific, because we come from other country and something it may seem obvious in our country or in our life may not be for the host family.

Another little addvice is that you try to say yes at everything, that way it will be easier to find a host family and it would be a great way of meeting new people that otherwise you wouldn't be able to.

So as I was saying my sister, the same that went with me to the information meeting and that from now on I will refering to as D, well she helped my with my online application especially with the grammar that I'm still trying to figure out. Anyway there are a WHOLE LOT of question that you need to answer from your educational background to any disase you have had, passing through your childcare, driving and swimming experience. Also you may want your childcare references forms with you so all the information match together.

And I think that is it, but if you want to know something more about it feel free to ask, and in the next post I'll be talking about the references forms or the driving experience I'm not that sure about which one will come first... Anywaway, hope you had like the post and Keep smiling :D
